Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are actually open and will shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to satisfy the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home that has a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic revenue doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from households website with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
